As we move fully into summer and the heat kicks in, Draw fires it up. We've got many things cooking in our kitchen this month.
Petro directed with the illustrious Nikka Costa. Nikka wanted to change things up a bit and
comments on how she is an evolving person, with evolving music. Petro delivered exactly what she asked for in this upbeat electro video that slightly mocks our obsession with fame, wealth and power. And we are wrapping out Nickelodeon's huge TV sensation
Big Time Rush. Petro directed a video for their new song "City is Ourz." Keep an eye out for this one. Fans anxiously await the video release. Today Petro is shooting a video for Starshell's "Superluva" on Interscope Records. The song is a very catchy electro-pop piece that is sure to be blasting on all the top stations. The video will undoubtedly have you dancing in your living room. It's OK... we know you are... rock on!
Matt Lenski directed
Hal Linton's debut single "Mind Control" (Universal/Motown) off the album Return From The Future. Many people compare Hal's music to that of D'Angelo and Maxwell. Matt directed Hal in a warm, sensual style that evokes the feelings of his idol Marvin Gaye. Hal said "Matt Lenski’s treatment and ideas for the video was amazing." We're glad you like it Hal. We think it's a beautiful introduction to what is surely to become Motowns' next great hit!
Felix and Paul shot an intriguing almost vintage style video in 2D and 3D version of "The Saddest Thing I Know" for the eccentric and anomalous Aussie band: Birds of Tokyo. The self titled album releases on July 23, 2010. We have the 2D version of the video here, but if you have some red/green 3D glasses, you'll want to slide those puppies on and sit back for a great treat. Felix & Paul collaborated with the artists to create an innovative process for 3D. Shhh!!! We're not telling any secrets... just yet.
